I work with clients to find a new perspective on life. Growing up, we are told/hear many things about what we “should” do or how we “should” feel. Should statements can cause clients to struggle with anxiety, depression, issues with connections with themselves or others, sexual health issues, and much more. As a client-centered and solution-focused therapist. I view clients as the expert in their life and work with them to find their authentic selves by working on compassion, acceptance, and empowerment.

Our world has changed, and societal expectations are changing, this gives us all the opportunity to discover our true priorities. How we show up for ourselves, friends, family, relationships, and our careers. Working with clients since 2015, I have found that all clients are different and need a customized approach to focus on what they are struggling with. I view our time together as a collaborative team. I focus on being empathetic, supportive, non-judgmental, mindful, and a good listener. As a white cis-female therapist, I work on continued education and self-reflection to provide culturally sensitive therapy. I specialize in adult ADD/ADHD management, sex therapy, and LGBTQ+ affirmative, kink/poly affirmative care for individuals and couples.

It is not always easy to face our own internal work or the work within a relationship, but I am available to support you as you face challenges and become the person that you want to be. I look forward to working with you!

My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore all aspects of your life and leave feeling empowered to live more authentically. Sometimes we can feel stuck by the stressors in our relationships, careers, personal histories, and more. You do not have to navigate it alone. As a team, we will work together to challenge the obstacles in your path and deepen your relationship with yourself and others. I believe that through the power of language, collaboration, and connection, we can shape new meanings and move towards a preferred way of living.

As a strengths-based therapist, I invest in getting to know the person behind the “problem”. I believe in utilizing narrative, solution-focused, and client-centered theories to help you become the best version of yourself. I provide an inclusive, sex-positive approach to navigating individual, relational, and societal problems. I am also committed to providing culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirmative, and kink/poly affirmative care for individuals and couples. Whether you are a young adult embarking on a new journey or a person with a rich history, you are the expert in what living an authentic life looks like for you. Therapy is your place to challenge the limiting messages that we receive and reclaim a sense of power over your life again.
